Chrome Extension

If you install and use our Chrome extension Video to WAV/MP4 Launcher, the extension may access the URL of your active tab when you click the extension button, or the page URL when you select the right-click menu item on supported pages.
  • Purpose: Open youtubetowav.io in a new tab with the video URL so you can use the Service.
  • No website content reading: The extension does not read page text, cookies, form fields, or your browsing history list.
  • No local storage: The extension does not store the tab URL; it is used only to build the navigation link.
When you proceed on youtubetowav.io, your request may be processed as described below, including by third-party conversion providers.

2) Third-Party Services

To generate WAV/MP4 download links, the Service uses third-party APIs/providers. Your requests (including the YouTube URL) may be processed by those providers according to their own terms and policies.
If enabled, we may also use Google Analytics to understand page views, conversion flow events, and feature usage at an aggregated level. Google may collect device/browser metadata and analytics identifiers according to its own policies.

3) How We Use Information

  • Provide and operate the Service (request conversion jobs).
